Some of the many places to visit include;

Playa Blanca is a coastal resort in the south of Lanzarote. It has a modern marina, Marina Rubicom. There are many restaurants & boardwalks. Sandy covered Papagayo Beach on Lanzarote has several secluded coves and naturist beaches. Playa Blanca is a tourist resort with many (but not all) of the buildings and villas being developed in the past 15 years.

Puerto Calero is a semi-chic, purpose built resort a 10 minute drive from Villa Penas Blancas. It has a stylish marina. Fishing boats and catamarans are available for hire and whales and dolphins abound. Resort features  designer brand clothes shops & boutiques. Boardwalks. Nice place to eat and or walk or sit whilst watching the passers by.

Famara is a quiet seaside resort village in the north of the island which has several local Spanish restaurants, some bars and a few shops. It’s popular with locals at weekends and in the Spanish summer holidays when it really comes alive. Its also popular with tourists year round. There is a long sandy beach with rocky enclaves called zoccos, to the rear of the beach. Famara on Lanzarote is perfect location for body boarding, wind surfing. There is no shade on any Famara beach.
